Join Q92.9 and Q Morning Show host John Cline for Light up night at PPG place plaza - downtown! It’s the "opening” of the ice skating rink for the season! Q92.9 is there from 4:30p-7p with the following events:
4:45pm: RMU Island Sports Center ice figure skating academy presents the Grinch Who Stole Christmas.
5pm: CLO Mini Stars
5:30-6pm: American Cancer Society's tribute and plaza tree lighting
300+ people will carry a hand held tribute of light candles and surround the rink. Each candle is in memory of someone touched by cancer. The 65 foot tall plaza Christmas tree is lit by a child cancer survivor.
