Super Bowl Sunday SUPER FOODS!

If you're tired of those mundane Super Bowl parties, then these recipes are for you.

1. Black Bean-Habanero Lime Dip

Black Bean-Habanero Lime Dip

This dip is so hot that when you prepare it, you literally have to wear gloves (or at least don't touch your face) when working with the habanero chilies--some of the spiciest in the world. However, the end result is worth it, because the chilies and cilantro complements the whipped cream cheese and black beans, creating a perfect harmony of spicy and refreshing.

Ingredients:
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
½ cup sour cream
¼ cup diced white onion
1 cup rinsed and rough chopped pre-cooked black beans (canned fine)
¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
1/8 cup chopped green onions
1 tablespoon lime juice
1-2 teaspoon minced habanero chile--seeds and ribs removed
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Full recipe here.

2. Bacon Explosion

Bacon Explosion

Don't even try to put this one within ten feet of a vegetarian. With few ingredients, this one isn't too difficult to make and involves both sausage and bacon--in fact, it's a log of sausage and bacon. Yeah.

Ingredients:
2 pounds thick cut bacon
2 pounds Italian sausage
1 jar of your favorite barbecue sauce
1 jar of your favorite barbecue rub

Full recipe here.

3. Barbecue Beef Pizza

Barbecue Beef Pizza

Probably the heartiest pizza you can make on your own, and pretty easily, this pizza is a great main course for a Super Bowl party and will keep everyone full enough to last as long as the game does.

Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups barbecue sauce
1 clove garlic, finely minced
1 to 1 1/2 cups leftover roast beef, sliced and diced or cut in thin strips
1/2 medium red onion, sliced
2 small plum tomatoes, thinly sliced
3/4 cup Monterey Jack and Colby or Cheddar cheese blend
1 cup shredded Mozarella cheeseburger or beef grill seasoning blend, optional
ground black pepper

Full recipe here.

4. Grilled Chinese Pork Back Ribs

Grilled Chinese Pork Back Ribs

Ribs are obviously one of the best party foods, and combining them with traditionally Chinese flavors is a recipe for success.

Ingredients:
1 rack pork back ribs
1/2 teaspoon Chinese five spice powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon hot mustard powder (you can use regular dry mustard)
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
soy sauce
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1/4 teaspoon Chinese five spice powder
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 garlic clove , finely minced
2 tablespoons ketchup
3 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce

Full recipe here.

5. Fiery Doritos Bites Nachos

Fiery Doritos Bites Nachos

These nachos are not for the weak of stomach and definitely require a cool beverage on the side (but it's the Super Bowl, so that should be a staple anyway). With jalapeños, paprika, hot sauce, and chipotles, not everyone will be able to handle it, but those who do will absolutely love it.

Ingredients:
1 - 11 1/2 ounce bag of DORITOS® Nacho Chips
1 jar of TOSTITOS® brand Medium Salsa Con Queso
1/2 cup chopped canned black beans
1/2 cup cooked ground beef
5 tablespoon chopped chipotles in adobo
3 tablespoon chopped jarred jalapeños
2 tablespoon chopped cilantro
2 teaspoon paprika
Hot sauce, for garnish
Cilantro sprigs, for garnish

Full recipe here.

6. Wild Boar Chili with Garam Masala

Wild Boar Chili with Garam Masala

If you want to give your guests a totally different (and excellent) tasting chili, then this is the one. Originally devised by a guy who grew up in Kentucky with parents from India, it's an awesome mix of two unique traditions.

Ingredients:
4 tbsp olive oil
3 lbs wild-boar leg, ground
1 lb pork shoulder, ground twice
1 thick slab bacon, minced
coarse salt and ground black pepper
1 large onion, minced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 jalapeño, deseeded and minced
kosher salt and ground black pepper
2 tbsp tomato paste
2 qts sweet cherry tomatoes (about 8 cups), cut in half
4 tbsp garam masala spice mix
2 cups chicken stock
2 15-oz cans red kidney beans, rinsed and drained cilantro for garnish

Full recipe here.

7. Smokey Jalapeño Cheese Dip

Smokey JalapeƱo Cheese Dip

Can't go wrong with this--everyone obviously loves cheese, and the jalapeños keep it more interesting than a traditional cheese dip. This could be the favorite at your Super Bowl party.

Ingredients:
3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup canned diced jalapeno peppers, drained (reserve juice)
1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
